New Stem Cell Institute partnership will increase availability of iPSCs and services in Boston
Cellular Dynamics International will collaborate with the Harvard University Stem Cell Institute to make stem cells more accessible and promote regenerative medicine research.
Cellular Dynamics International (WI, USA) will collaborate with the Harvard University Stem Cell Institute (MA, USA) to extend availability of iPSCs and stem cell services to members of the Stem Cell Institute network and the Boston scientific community. As part of the agreement, Cellular Dynamics will provide seed funding, training and educational programs to iPSC projects at the Stem Cell Institute. There will also be the opportunity to produce iPSCs at full scale, utilizing Cellular Dynamics production facilities.
“Cellular Dynamics International is looking forward to partnering with Harvard Stem Cell Institute, one of the world’s most prestigious stem cell research organizations,” commented Bruce Novich, Executive Vice President for Cellular Dynamics.
“Our goal is to make iPSCs and applications technology more accessible so that researchers across disciplines and the various institutions affiliated with Harvard Stem Cell Institute can more successfully, rapidly and cost-effectively pursue the promise of stem cell science and regenerative medicine.”
