The UK Stem Cell Bankhas supported the national and international regenerative medicine community since 2004. We supply human pluripotent stem cell lines (hPSCs) for research and EUTCD-Grade hESC lines as starting material for the development of cellular therapies.
In conjunction with the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, we’re running a 3-day stem cell training course combining lectures and ‘hands-on’ lab experience in our state-of-the art facilities.
This training workshop also offers the unique opportunity to carry out stem cell culture training in a GMP compliant cleanroom facility.
Practical training sessions include:
- Working in a GMP-compliant facility and its importance
- Cell culture and maintenance of hPSCs
- Cryopreservation, thawing, plating, and passaging techniques
- Reprogramming with Sendi virus and identification of iPSCs
- Differentiation and characterization methods for PSCs
These practical training sessions will be supported by lectures on cGMP cell banking, reprogramming of iPSCs, characterization of hPSCs and gene editing.
