Thanks for that Alan. Social media certainly has the potential to do much good for stem cell and regenerative medicine, but as you said in your article there certainly needs to be care to avoid misinformation, etc. More and more institutes and societies seem to be generating social media policies and guidelines for their employees/members; hopefully this is a step in the right direction towards more effective and positive use!
