Delivery of mesenchymal stem cells in biomimetic engineered scaffolds promotes healing of diabetic ulcers

(Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, USA) hypothesizing that the delivery of MSCs in a biomimetic collagen scaffold may improve wound healing in a diabetic mouse model. MSCs are a promising source of cells for multiple regenerative processes.
