The TERMIS Business Plan Competition is going global this year! For the first time, we’re hosting a start-up competition specific to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (TERM) on an international scale. Whether you’re looking for a first taste of the business side of TERM, or the chance to accelerate your start-up through experienced mentorship and cash prizes, then the TERMIS Global BPC is for you!

If you need a bit of inspiration, read about the previous finalists, or learn the challenges of developing a product in TERM on our blog or Pre-Accelerator Programme webinars.

Our winner from last year, STENTiT (Stent Intelligent Technology), had the opportunity to pitch at TERMIS-EU Conference in Davos, Switzerland.

The applications for Round 1 is 23:59 GMT on 5th March 2018.
This involves the submission of Business Plan Summary at www.termisbpc.org/apply
“The TERMIS-EU BPC was a very enriching experience for STENTiT. It provided us with highly valuable feedback and new contacts to high-profile experts in the field, whose interaction prevailed beyond the competition. Winning a European contest is a remarkable credential for new start-ups and we highly encourage new teams to be part of this exciting workshop, it was a great pleasure for us to participate.” – Dr Sol Cabrera

The competition involves three rounds, and aims to provide you with the opportunity to develop your business plan. We actively encourage entrepreneurially-minded academics to apply, especially those with products that have commercial potential. The Finals will be held at the TERMIS World Congress in Kyoto, Japan, in September 2018.
Last year we awarded over £10,000 in prize money to our finalists backed by sponsors, including J&J Innovation, GSK, Immodgel and Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult.
