REGenableMED project at York

Written by Andrew Webster

The Science and Technology Studies Unit (SATSU) at the University of York is leading on a three year social science project funded by the ESRC which is exploring and determining the ‘institutional readiness’ (in contrast to the conventional ‘technological readiness’) of the health care system for regenerative medicine.

The project brings together expertise from York, Birmingham (the NIHR), Edinburgh (Innogen) and Sussex. Further details can be found at www.york.ac.uk/satsu/regenablemed/
The team has strong links across the RM bioscience, corporate, clinical and policy communities and the results will be made publicly available as the project develops on the website.
