World Stem Cell Summit will honor leaders in regenerative medicine, connect international experts
The 13th World Stem Cell Summit will be held 22—26 January in Miami, FL, USA.
From 22 January, experts and advocates in regenerative medicine will descend on Miami (FL, USA) for the 13th World Stem Cell Summit (WSCS) for a varied and in-depth program covering topics such as the latest advances in stem cell research, navigating regulation and ethics, and much more. This year’s event is co-located with the Phacilitate Leaders Forum, incorporating the Cell & Gene Therapy World and Immuno-Oncology Frontiers World conferences. This event will also see the celebration of the 2018 Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Action Awards at a gala reception and dinner. This year’s honorees are:
- Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, and Shelley Ross and the Cure Alliance, will receive Advocacy Awards
- Dr. W. E. “Ed” Bosarge will receive a Leadership Award
- Professor Norio Nakatsuji will receive an International Leadership Award
- Adrienne Bell-Cors Shapiro will receive an Inspiration Award
