In this infographic, we present a round up of the latest interventions for sickle cell disease being trialed.

In preparation for World Sickle Cell Day, we’ve taken a look at the current stem cell and gene therapy-based interventions being trialed for sickle cell disease. Largely, the aims of these trials is to stimulate the body to produce healthy red blood cells through infusion of allogeneic stem cells or gene-edited autologous stem cells.
