In-house 3D printing allows quicker restoration of teeth for jaw cancer patients
Researchers have found that in-house 3D printing has facilitated the fast and cost-effective tooth restoration in patients with jaw cancer. According to research in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, by following a 3D digital workflow in planning and restoring the jaw, patients with jaw cancer had shorter waiting times and associated costs were reduced.
