Poster: Integrated modular T cell processing and formulation-fill using automated system

Downstream processing remains a critical bottleneck in autologous CAR-T therapy manufacturing. Manual workflows can introduce variability, increase contamination risk, and negatively impact final product consistency when compounded across the manufacturing process.

Automation promises to address these challenges, but only if it can preserve critical quality attributes while delivering the precision and consistency required for clinical use. This poster evaluates a modular, automated workflow integrating the Gibco™ CTS™ Rotea™ Counterflow Centrifugation System for cell concentration and washing with the Gibco™ CTS™ Compleo™ Formulation and Fill System for automated formulation and multi-dose dispensing. The study assesses cell recovery, viability, and phenotypic integrity following processing, and volumetric accuracy accross clinically relevant fill volumes.
