Vascular surgery assessment produced using 3D printing and virtual reality platform

The Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery (APDVS; IL, USA) and 3D Systems (SC, USA) have collaborated to produce Fundamentals of Endovascular Surgery (FEVS). This novel simulation is set to launch in ten US centers in early 2019 and is projected to be used in 100 Vascular Surgery Training Programs throughout the US. The Fundamentals of Endovascular Surgery (FEVS) simulation provides both training and an assessment on a trainee's vascular surgery skills.
