Genetics Policy Institute and Regenerative Medicine Foundation to merge

Yesterday at the opening session of the wonderful 10th Annual World Stem Cell Summit (San Antonio, TX, USA) the Genetics Policy Institute (GPI), producer of the annual World Stem Cell Summit, and the Regenerative Medicine Foundation (RMF) announced their agreement to merge in order to leverage their resources in the advancement of stem cell research, regenerative medicine and other advanced technologies targeting cures.

The merged organization is to be called the Regenerative Medicine Foundation: the Genetics Policy Institute will become the think tank and policy arm of the merged organization, hoping to further work on policy and patient advocacy. By merging their wealth of experience, knowledge and resources, these two nonprofit organizations will truly be a force to be reckoned with in the battle to unite the regenerative medicine community and bring therapies to those in need of the hope and help that only regenerative medicine may provide them.
