Bioprinting research investigates diabetes-related cardiac complications

Researchers at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP; TX, USA) have been awarded funding by the National Institutes of Health (NIH; MD, USA) to investigate diabetes-related cardiac complications with 3D bioprinted cardiac tissue.
