Easy, novel technique for the bioprinting of live tissues
A team of researchers has developed a novel technique for the bioprinting of blood vessel networks, capable of supporting tumor samples and vascularized gut tissue ex vivo. Researchers at the University of California San Diego (CA, USA) have developed a novel, easy to use bioprinting technique for the creation of lifelike tissues such as blood vessels and vascularized gut, from natural materials. The bioengineers claim that the technique allows for researchers of varying levels experience and expertise to produce realistic tissue models. The team has been working to create blood vessel networks which have been capable to keep breast cancer...
