Government to invest US$2.2M towards medical 3D printing center in Québec

A medical 3D printing center in Québec City is to be opened following a joint project between the Québec Industrial Research Center and the CHU Québec-Université Laval network of hospitals. Following plans from the Québec Industrial Research Center (CRIQ) and the CHU Québec-Université Laval (both QC, Canada) network of hospitals to open a US$2.874 million medical 3D printing center in Québec City, François Blais, Minister of the Capitale-Nationale region, has disclosed the government will donate roughly US$2.299 million towards the costs.
