South Korean researchers build low-cost open source 3D bioprinter

Researchers have made available instructions to build an affordable 3D bioprinter, capable of fabricating hybrid scaffolds for tissue engineering research, and outlined the process of finding optimal printing conditions. Researchers from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoul, South Korea) have published a paper describing the schematics for an open source 3D bioprinter in the International Journal of Precision Engineering and Manufacturing.
