3D printed spine will help train spinal surgeons

A 3D printed replica of human vertebrae will be utilized by trainee surgeons before undertaking procedures on patients. Researchers at Nottingham Trent University (UK) are helping train student surgeons by developing 3D printed replicas of human vertebrae which act and feel like real bone tissue.
