New study shows patients prefer 3D printed dentures to traditional cast dentures

In an international study, selective laser melting was compared with traditional casting as a method for producing dentures for patients with edentulism. In a study conducted at McGill University (QC, Canada) supported by the University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and King Saud University (Saudi Arabia), patients were found to prefer 3D printed dentures when compared with traditionally cast dentures.
