High throughput digital bioprinting to be made possible with new liquid handling platform

FormaJet, from TTP PLc, will enable high-speed, high-density, many-color printing in emerging applications including diagnostics, tissue engineering and drug discovery. A novel printhead platform designed for true multi-color bioprinting has been developed by TTP Plc (UK) which will enable digital processing and printing of 96 colors from a microplate. FormaJetTM will be able to print a broad range of reagents such as proteins, peptides and DNA, or low viscosity polymers, organic chemicals, volatile solvents and solid-loaded materials.
