Scientists from the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM; NC, USA) have developed a skeletal muscle tissue engineering technique to better integrate neural cells into bioprinted muscle tissues. Scientists from the WFIRM have reportedly improved upon a 3D bioprinting technique to better integrate neural cells into bioengineered skeletal muscle tissue.
